Often we men are susceptible to an illusion that our wives have a similar thought process like ours. But I will tell you what, a woman’s heart and mind is a realm so apart, with enigmas that only the good Lord himself can comprehend.

You might now say, "Was it not just yesterday that I told her I loved her?" Well, let me tell you, my friend, that’s all fine and dandy, but you can't brush aside the fact that a woman loves to hear these kind words perpetually, such as a one sip tea in the morning. It’s not that she’s insecure, not at all. It is just how God has created her. She wants that daily reminder-that you are still on her side, literally every single day.

 

But mind you, it’s not only that. Show her. Be there for her. Help around the house... a kind gesture… just being there. These little things mean the world to her.

 

So, just try to accept this fact. It is in their nature and it is so beautiful. Because in the end, aren’t these little sacrifices & adjustments at the root of our lasting love during our golden years?
